ACTIVE ALERTS

Alerts within PAMS allow special highlights to be defined that need be observed when specific actions and activities are performed.  Alerts can be associated with specific patients, orders, clinicians and procedures.  Alerts are highlighted when relevant actions are performed.  The types and classification of alerts may be configured according to the requirements of the organisation.

NOTIFICATION RULES

Customisable rules can be associated with events that may occur during the pre-analytical process.  Notification actions can be defined for a specific event that define the audience for the event notification – the users or jobs roles that the notification is to sent to, as well as the notification details and priority of the event notification.  Notification rules are customisable to the organisation and may be defined by an authenticated user who is authorised to manage notifications.

SERVICE STANDARD MONITORING

Keep track of all orders being processed against the defined service standard relevant to the order.  Service standards allow the turn-around time and for tests and priorities to be defined and associated with providers or provider groups.  This allows you to effectively monitor contracted service agreements that may be negotiated between the lab and a client healthcare provider.  Definable key events facilitate proactive monitoring of orders against service standards, and can be used in conjunction with alerts and notifications to ensure the on-time delivery of all orders.
