A key part of handling paper-based requisitions is data entry to the LIS.  Managing data entry from paper-based requisitions can become a bottleneck and source of errors within the laboratory process. REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

Furthermore, imagePROFILE complies with the requirements of the Notice of Information Technology (IT) Standards under the Electronic Transactions Act. This notice specifies the IT standards required for the electronic transmission, scanning, and storage of requests for, and confirmation of requests for, pathology services to approved pathology practitioners pursuant to ss16A and 23DK(1) of the Act, Reg,9A, Health Insurance Regulations (the regulations) and the Health Insurance (Pathology Services) Regulations (the HI(PS) regulations).

REMOTE DOCUMENT CAPTURE AND ACCESS

imagePROFILE implements distributed document processing that provides a wide variety of remote document capture configuration options, as well as configuration options to ensure that document retrieval times at remote sites are generally “immediate”, with minimal load on the network. imagePROFILE has been designed to be able to give users fast access to documents, regardless of geographic location.

imagePROFILE delivers solutions for remote document capture and retrieval that enables organisations to discover new operational efficiencies and overcome paper-bound process bottlenecks. The wide range of remote site configuration options offered by imagePROFILE allows the cost of putting remote operations on-line to be kept at a minimum.

INTEGRATED ORDER CAPTURE

Fully integrated with PAMS, imagePROFILE in conjunction with PAMS can be used as a comprehensive and efficient order capture and processing system.

Using PAMS apps such as the Collection Centre app, and Mobile Collections app, order requisitions are easily captured into PAMS as fully validated and verified data, with original requisition forms, and any associated documents, captured via imagePROFILE and attached to the order as form attachments.

Once captured, PAMS may be used to send the validated order information, sample and sample collection information directly to your LIMS for laboratory processing.

DESIGNED FOR SEAMLESS INTEGRATION

imagePROFILE provides an array of flexible integration points that enable it to integrate with a wide variety of healthcare systems, such as Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, laboratory information management systems (LIMS), laboratory information systems (LIS), practice management systems, and patient information systems (PIS) – usually without modification to the target system.
